With the blessings of Pujya Sri Vijayendra Saraswathi Swamigal, our Annadhanam on the Aradhanai day of Pujya Sri Jayendra Saraswathi Swamigal was performed at Kanchipuram, graciously as usual, on 4th March 2023.
As usual, the team lead by Cook Kannan arrived at Kanchi from Tiruchy during the early hours of 3rd March for the preparation and serving of food. The volunteers also arrived from Chennai and Mumbai. Immediately we purchased all the required items including vegetables, groceries, milk, gas etc. We served Palagaram to devotees arriving on the 3rd evening.
On the 4th, we started the Bhojanam of the Vidyartis from our Mutt’s Patashala. A batch of about 40 artistes from Chennai who performed Panchratna Keertanai were also served. The last batch of devotees had their Bhojanam around 3pm. We were pleased to offer the Bhojanam to nearly a thousand devotees who participated in the Aradhanai Mahotsavam.
In addition, we distributed food to the poor in the vicinity of the Mutt.
